Every project is an opportunity to experiment with mood, pacing, and storytelling. Here's one of my recent music visual projects. I'd love to hear what stands out to you and how you approach creating atmosphere in your own work.

“Do you remember that day?” is a cinematic fashion film exploring memory, emotion, and visual storytelling through atmospheric imagery and visual aesthetics. Director’s Note: “Do You Remember That Day?” was created during a trip to Greece. Without a planned script, the film emerged spontaneously during the shooting of Aphrodite’s music video Fly Me Away. I wanted to embrace the authenticity of the moments unfolding around us. We filmed real places, everyday experiences, and spontaneous moments that gradually became part of the film’s visual language. The film unfolded naturally, blending fashion, memory, and atmosphere into a story that feels personal and timeless. More than documenting a place, it captures the feeling of a summer that slowly becomes a memory. I’m Spyros Maltezos, a film director based in Europe, working across Greece and Italy. I studied Sciences and Technologies of Visual Arts, Music, Entertainment and Fashion at the Mediological Cinema Department, University of Bologna. My work spans short films, TV ads, music videos, fashion films, advertising campaigns, and commercial productions, combining cinematic storytelling with commercial creativity.

Every text animation, kinetic typography layout, and visual transition is meticulously timed to the rhythm to maximize impact and maintain a relentless pace. A festive, atmospheric holiday track written, performed, and produced to capture the classic warmth and emotional depth of the Christmas season. This project showcases a full creative pipeline beginning with an intimate, candlelit vocal performance that gradually builds into a rich, dynamic arrangement featuring layered choral harmonies. In addition to the songwriting and vocal production, I handled the visual asset creation, designing a custom lyric video with precise pacing and overlay transitions that match the slow swell and emotional release of the musical composition. A cinematic, mood-driven lyric video created for the track "Real Love Stories". This project serves as a comprehensive showcase of end-to-end post-production, visual pacing, and creative direction. To complement the nostalgic, reflective R&B/pop tone of the track, the visuals employ a stylized chromatic aberration (3D color-split) effect layered over a mix of high-contrast urban landscapes, intimate narrative framing, and sweeping sunset vistas. The kinetic typography is systematically integrated into the environment to maintain a fluid, narrative flow rather than a standard text overlay.
